A fig industries production
The LancHappy Project is about ordinary people finding and creating happiness in the City of Lancaster. Our goal is simple: to continue to make the City of Lancaster a happier and healthier place to be, to live, and to love.
Through random acts of kindness and a pay-it-forward mentality, we want to think about happiness in terms of cultivating curiosity, performing acts of service, and creatively filling the City with an appreciation that ordinary people pursing happiness leads to extraordinary things: better relationships and a stronger, more connected community.

The King and Queen of Happy
Do you know someone making downtown Lancaster a better place to live and work? This year, we will be honoring the people who always find a way to bring others together and spread a smile to those they meet.
We want to recognize the neighbor on your block who always hosts a summer barbecue, the friend who organized a group shoveling day, the acquaintance you see in the park who always has a treat for dogs that pass.
We’ll host a crowning ceremony that certifies them as the King or Queen of Happy, they’ll receive a fabulous prize pack fit for royalty, and we’ll celebrate their efforts in the pages of Fig for all to see.
Nominations for the summer King/Queen due by March 25.
Businesses and organizations around the City of Lancaster aspire to bring you the happiest of events. Check out this list and add them to your own calendar (Google and iCal links)—sharing them socially with your family and friends with our handy social media link options.
